Michael and Amy Smalley specialize in teaching couples the principles of loving well and loving for a lifetime. Their popularity as nationally renowned marriage builders and couples counselors quickly grew through their signature straightforward, no-nonsense advice. The Smalley’s message inspires, motivates and challenges people to thrive in their most important relationships.

Michael and Amy's love story began while they were undergraduates at Baylor University in Waco, Texas. After graduation, they went on to earn master’s degrees in clinical psychology from Wheaton College in Chicago, Illinois.

The Smalley’s have authored several best-selling relationship advice books including Communicating with Your Teen, The Men’s Relational Toolbox, the DNA of Relationships, More than a Match, and Don’t Date Naked.

For the past 15 years they have spoken to millions of people around the world through their live events, international evangelistic events, and special speaking.

They teach with entertaining stories and illustrations, allowing their audiences to learn through laughter. In 2006, Amy and Michael launched their Marriage Restoration Intensives, working hand-in-hand with couples to teach them valuable skills to maintain their marriages.

Michael and Amy currently serve as the founders and Executive Directors of the Smalley Marriage and Family Center in The Woodlands, just outside Houston, Texas. The center provides local counseling, special intensive marriage retreats, and training for professionals and lay-people.

The Smalleys have enjoyed 15 years of marriage and make their home near Houston, Texas. They have three children, Cole, Reagan, and David.
